Revealing this product line is the reckoning of a dream I’ve been cultivating for years. I have filled so many of my days with creating, molding, and shaping moments that I hope will linger in people’s minds and memories long after the experience is gone.
Cokobo is the beginning of my long-awaited dream.
Cokobo products are fresh, yet familiar and comfortable.
I love getting fancy and dressed to the nines, but I do real-life in ripped jeans, converse sneakers, and a t-shirt. I wanted to build an interior product line that celebrates those kinds of sophisticated, elevated moments we live, alongside the realness of who we are in our mundane moments. There’s a little part of me in every piece I design, but even more, there is something special I want to give to you.
Cokobo is not limited to a single style. It’s a way of creating life.
Cokobo products are not based on a single style. They revolve around a life well-lived—with all of its highs and lows and the moments in between. The designs are simple, classic, and minimal because all of us could use some space for breathing. As I sketched and designed, I thought about the ebb and flow of life—the coming and going. I wanted my designs to be similar to how it feels to breathe in and out and to reflect moments of activity, and moments of rest. Simultaneously, I wanted the pieces to have texture, even sometimes a handmade quality about them, complete with imperfections. It’s a subtle reminder that our flaws are what make us charming and give us depth, warmth, and personality.
I think of my work as the juxtaposition of perfect-symmetry that meets the handmade. It’s large scale, small detail. Light and shadows. Smooth and textured. Even as I try to define it, I struggle to find the right words, other than to say, cokobo is the reflection of real life.
This dream has always been about you—about improving your life by improving the experiences of your home.
