The Price Residence

Minimalist With A Nod to Mid Century Modern

In 2015, Justin and Megan Price requested my design expertise as they flipped their cramped, dated kitchen layout into a new bright, sleek, clean space to cook and gather. When they were ready to renovate the rest of their house in 2020, I was there to capture their dreams.

They were looking for a cohesive design across the entire house with a clean, modern aesthetic. Their older home had low ceilings and lacked a natural flow from room-to-room.

The Price’s wanted their small suburban home Florida home to have the feel of a sleek New York City loft apartment. They were both attracted to high-end modern spaces with bright white, minimalism. Their home needed to be a place where they could easily entertain guests and yet still serve as a peaceful retreat. Beautiful and clutter-less, while also cozy and comfortable.

Designers inspire each other to push the boundaries. This Price Renovation was inspired by:

The Borden Renovation in Downtown Toronto by StudioAC features pale woodwork and white-painted walls with hidden storage for extra space.

The Manhattan Penthouse features a 4-floor minimalist design created by Designs By Human, Inc. Its light and airy color palette accentuates the dark tones of the brick and surroundings.
